Do I Need a Graphic Designer for My Kickstarter Picture Book Page?

Do I Need a Graphic Designer for My Kickstarter Page?

When you start to think about what you will need to set up your Kickstarter picture book campaign page, perhaps the cover of your book is the only image that you think you need. You definitely need the book cover so potential donors have an idea of what your book looks like.

If you are not an illustrator or a graphic designer, you will need to hire someone to create your book cover. But that’s not all.

You will also need the graphic designer to create any graphics that you want to include in your Kickstarter picture book campaign page, including Rewards graphics. Why? If you don’t have any graphics, your campaign page will just be solid blocks of text. That can be hard to read.

This is an example of what my graphic designer created for me:

If you have a limited budget, I would suggest hiring a graphic designer for the cover of your book and the Rewards levels.

I will be listing graphic designers on my website sidebar … so far it’s just one graphic designer that I highly recommend. Nina Garcia creates images for me for my blog, PragmaticMom. If you are a graphic designer and want to be included as a resource, please leave me a comment below and I’ll link you.
